Get Your Wedding Venue Listed in the Alabama Wedding Guide

This is for wedding venues only, for now. We're not listing other wedding vendors yet, such as photographers, florists, caterers, or planners. If that changes, we'll say so here.
What a free listing includes
- A listing on the Alabama Wedding Guide page for your area, such as our Birmingham, AL or Huntsville, AL venue guides, and on our statewide Alabama wedding venues guide when it fits
- Your venue's name, location, venue type, and a link to your website
- Guest capacity and a short, neutral description of the space
- A "last updated" date, so couples know how current the information is
- A fair spot: free listings are shown in alphabetical order within each section, and nobody can pay to move up
What we need from you
Required:
- Venue name, city, and website
- Venue type (barn or farm, garden or outdoor, historic home or estate, hotel or ballroom, and so on)
- Guest capacity (seated and standing)
- A contact name and email, in case we have questions (we won't publish these)
Optional, but helpful:
- What's included (tables and chairs, catering, rooms for the couple, on-site lodging, and so on)
- A starting price or price range (we only publish prices you've confirmed with us)
- 3 to 5 high-quality photos that you have the rights to share
- Your venue's Instagram or Facebook page
How we review listings
Every submission is reviewed by our team before anything is published. We check that the venue is a real, operating wedding venue in Alabama and that the basics are accurate: location, venue type, capacity, and website. We may email you to confirm details, and we may edit descriptions for clarity and consistency.

Already listed and something is out of date? Want your venue updated or taken down? Email us at hello@alabamaweddingguide.com with your venue name and what you'd like changed. You can ask us to update or remove your listing at any time.
Sponsored listings coming later
Down the road, we may offer venues the option to pay for added visibility. Any paid placement will always be clearly labeled "Sponsored," and it will never change what we write about a venue or hurt a free listing. Until then, every listing is free.
